Stills in this series were chosen from frames of 16mm film that I buried on my family burial plot at Christ Episcopal Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. These images paradoxically offer a pure representation of my familial history by way of an abstracted image. The use of cyanotype serves to evoke notions of old haints.
